Dance Cruise (Salsa Cruise Update), Dance Videos and More

I’m back! That’s right, our Dance Cruise just got back from it’s seven day adventure through the Caribbean (out of New Orleans), and I have to say, it was spectacular. Our large group left out of New Orleans, and visited Cozumel, Grand Caymen, and yes, Jamaica (mon).

After 10 years of dance cruises, this one still managed to hold some fantastic surprises, and will go down as one of our best cruises. It’s amazing how not just our group, but also all of our instructors and event managers, have really perfected the art of dance cruising. I really had a great time, and yes, I (SalsaCrazy guy), am looking forward to my next cruise.

Our next cruises are in October, and while I will not be onboard those events, I recommend them greatly. The first is sailing with Juan Gil (on a 12 day adventure through the Mediterranean), and is one of the most massive, exciting, and downright adventurous cruises we have ever offered. you wear foundation, blush, gray eyshadow/black eyeshadow. then black eyeliner and mascara. then you wear fake lashes. i get mine from sallys they are ardells

At my studio, we have base makeup, and then additional makeup for specific routines. But our base makeup is a foundation 1-2 shades darker than your natural skin color, purple eyeshadow on your eyelids, pink eyeshadow from the top of your eyelid up to your eyebrow, black liquid eyeliner on the top and bottom, mascara on top and bottom (or fake lashes if you have really thin lashes), blush, and bright red lipstick. it sounds ridiculous, but when you’re on stage it looks completely normal lol

Is there any place Downtown Toronto, Ontario that would allow me to have a dance competition?

The space can be large. An example of a room size is the space they had in the Step Up 3 Movie, at the final competition at the end. With the seats and the dance stage in the middle. Or just a room that big.

The Metro Toronto Convention Center hosts all sorts of events constantly… ryerson exams (for thousands), the university fair, trade shows, job fairs, annual events/mixers. I don’t know how much it is but its worth looking into.
It’s located downtown, with from the cn tower skywalk, bremner blvd and on front street.

the venue has over 600,000 square feet of exhibit and meeting space including 64 meeting rooms, a world-class 1,330-seat theatre and two well-appointed ballrooms.

it ranges from 40 – 40,000 ppl for the space available

I was just wondering if any GOOD dance competitions/conventions were taking place in the Detroit area during the months of January, February, March and April. I have gone to ones in Dearborn. Also, if possible, could you include the host hotel.

Are there any dance competitions where you can compete in, without being affiliated with a dance studio?

Please help. I have been searching the internet for days but every dance compeitition that comes up tells you that you have to belong to a dance studio.
So, are there any dance competitions where you can compete in without belonging to dance studio?
If so, can you name one?

I’m almost positive that you can enter some competitions as "independent," which is basically on your own. I’m not sure which comps do that, but maybe you could check out ADA (American Dance Awards). I think they let people enter as independent. Maybe you could call the office of that comp? good luck!
