A sad, true life male contemporary solo song for dance competitions.?

29th September 2009

I was wondering if anyone had any good songs or artists to look at for a good and original solo song that is either lyric or contemporary. It needs to be filled with emotions and a male singer/group needs to sing it. I appreciate anyone who responds to my question seriously. THANKS!

Avada Kedrava- Age of Rockets (kinda fast, but really good for modern. It’s about a man dying/committing suicide. There is a reprise of the song that is slower and beautiful!!!!! That might work better.)

Candleburn- Dishwalla (I don’t think it’s used often. It’s very pretty and flowing with a melancholy feel.)

Everything- Lifehouse (very smooth and sad)

45 (acoustic)- Shinedown (I’m not sure if it is used often, but it’s very emotional!)

Grace is Gone- Dave Matthew and Tim Reynolds (acoustic, pretty)

The Freshman- Jay Brannan (acoustic cover; old song, but soft, beautiful song! Very emotional!)

No Bravery- James Blunt (again, not sure how often it is used, but it’s beautiful)
