What should I wear makeup wise for dance convention/workshops at competition?

This weekend I am going to a dance competition this isn’t my first year, but it is the first year I have been wearing makeup. What should I be wearing during the conventions/workshops and how should I do my hair as well? Thank you!!! Please answer quickly because my competition is this weekend!!!

To have your makeup show up in competitions sometimes you need to apply it a little bit more dramatically than you normally would. If you will be wearing foundation, put a little bit of deodorant on your face before applying the foundation. While this sounds strange, it is quite often used in competitions to prevent perspiration from melting your makeup. I wish I knew your eye color so I could give you eyeshadow tips etc, but without knowing it’s very hard to tell you which colors to use, because again usually people in competitions wear a thicker application.
