Alot of them, when you register you just have to register as an independent. Or if you just show up sometimes they will let you compete if their running ahead or if they have no one to put on.
References :
I'm almost positive that you can enter some competitions as "independent," which is basically on your own. I'm not sure which comps do that, but maybe you could check out ADA (American Dance Awards). I think they let people enter as independent. Maybe you could call the office of that comp? good luck! :)
References :
ok wait im a little confused. Are you gonna be competing with or without a studio? Its a lot easier when your competing with a studio, but not everybody has that option. Like my studio doesnt compete, but me and my friend are going to be competing anyways, just on our own. You sound like your gonna be competing without your studio. First of all, your going to want to make sure that the competition will allow dancers to participate without a studio. Most competition website will have a phone number, and and email, take advantage of it! I have never called them (im to lazy to be honest), but i have emailed a ton of different competitions. From the competitions that have actually emailed back, those ones do allow individual competitors competing without a studio. (i will give you some competitions below later). When you do the entry form just skip over the studio section, thats what they told me to do. Theres a lot of work that your going to have to do that usually the studio would do, but since your not going to be with a studio, its your responsibility. Your going to have to cut the music (the website will say the time limits for each), and everything else. Now for your routine, you pretty much have to options, which will both have the pros and cons. You can make up your routine, or just use one your working on in the studio. If you make up a routine, you have no problem with using it. It your own routine, so if your studio finds out about you competing, well then yeah no problem. The con of this option though is, that your not going to have studio time to practice it. Your going to have to make sure you have an open space to practice in (in your house). You could always tell you studio teacher about you competing, and she might (MIGHT) let you have some studio time, but your gonna have to pay odviously. Your other option is to use a routine your teacher choreographed. This is fine too probably. This way, your routine would be practiced and such. The only problem with this though is that since your going without a studio, im not sure if your allowed to use it. Like you would have to write your teachers name them on the choreography space/teacher name. But i dont know, you probably still are allowed. Most competitions are on either a saturday or a sunday, so you dont have to worry about missing school. Now the dates change every year, but if you go on the website you can see the dates they were on this year. Most likely the dates will be very similar to what they were this year. Each competition has different dates and times. Some competitions might run through only a couple months, when others are year round. What i would do is just search around the websites, email them, and see whatever else you need to know. If you email them, email them anything you want to know. The usually will answer so. Another thing is, go on youtube and watch competitions. I know it may seem odd at first, but trust me it helps! I actually really like to watch them, but other than that they kind of teach you stuff. Like from watching them, i know what the judges look for. The dont just look for skill, but only personality. So look like your having fun, and have facial expression. I cant stress facial expression enough! It can bring your score drastically! Prices will range by the way. For a solo, it usually about 90 dollars, but it can be cheaper, and more expensive, depending on the studio. So thats pretty much all i have to. I have spent a couple months just looking things up to find out all of this, so i know what im talking about! Have fun, and i will post some competitions under here to halp you out a little! :)

You should land somewhere in South India from where you can start your trip. Best possible way to go for this trip will be

Kerala-> Goa->Mumbai-> Udaipur->Jaipur-> Agra->Delhi->Manali-> Himachal Pradesh-> Jammu Kashmir-> Ladakh
and then in the end you will have to come back to leh from where you can get a flight back to Delhi and all international flights and domestic flights are available in Delhi.

If you are interested in some adventure sports activities then i will suggest you to visit the site of Thrillophilia Adventure Group for the adventure sports activities all over the India.
References :
http://thrillophilia.com
