Filmfare Awards 2009: a ‘calculated’ Prediction on Bollywood Awards 2008

31st March

In the months to come by, we will bear witness to the various kinds of Bollywood awards, Filmfare Awards, Screen Award, Zee Cine Awards, Sansui Awards, Stardust award, IIFA Awards..The most prestigious and well attended of the lot is the Filmfare Award(though it had a dismal attendance last year). Filmfare Awards are also generous of the lot, if they cannot fit an actor in their list, they make a special category for him/her with flashy names like ’special award’ ‘ outstanding performer’ etc. Last year, in 2007, we had Shahrukh Khan facing the heat from the child prodigy Darsheel Safary.

This time in 2008 Bollywood awards, SRK’s fantastic act in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has intense competition from his favorite rivals: Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan. Hold on to your seats, get the popcorn out, and go through Filmfare Awards 2009. Though it is a tad early, here is a calculated prediction on the Filmfare Award 2009 and many other awards that will precede or follow it. You are free to argue on our choice of Filmfare Awards and other Bollywood awards.

Best actress critics award: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (Jodhaa Akbar) The sword fight is still in our minds.

Best female playback singer: Shreya Goshal (Teri Or) Singh is Kinng

Controversy Surrounds Who is Left on Dancing With the Stars

29th March

Season Seven of Dancing With the Stars has now arrived, and the popular show is already rife with controversy. Roughly one third of the contestants have been eliminated, but surprisingly, 82-year-old Oscar-winning actress Cloris Leachman is still in the running despite a weak showing. Cloris is not the only figure surrounded by controversy, however; Misty May Treanor had to leave the show because she was hurt. Is Dancing With the Stars cursed?

I say Cloris Leachman’s continued participation is controversial because of the way the judges scored and tallied the votes. We’ve seen all of the stars dance now, and to be honest, while some have shown a great deal of improvement, a lot of the performances are very weak. Cloris received some very low scores at the beginning of the season, despite flirting relentlessly with the judges. This may sound bad, but her performance has been the worst. The producers of the show probably shouldn’t invite anyone who’s older than 70 to participate, because they just can’t keep up with younger, more fit dancers.

To be fair, many of the dancers are improving. The judges have been giving higher scores and the higher scores have been justified. For the most part, I think Cloris is being kept in the competition by the voters, not the judges. I hope she gets voted off before she injures herself.

A number of people have been hurt this season. Jeff Ross was injured when he was hit in the eye by his partner’s finger. One of the professional dancers, Karina Smirnoff, twisted her ankle during practice. Both have since been eliminated.

Only about a half dozen celebrities are still in the running; nearly 50% of the contestants have been eliminated. Keep track of who’s on and who’s off by visiting Who is Left on Dancing With the Stars.

Holiday Cooking Themes – Let Your Food Be The Trump Card For This Holiday!

18th March

Every year some family would meet up with great competition regarding their hostess. They try to enhance their cooking and festivities held last year for their hostess. Well it may be your turn this time!! You may not stick to the old tradition of the holiday cooking. Think about breaking it and instead use your creativity to produce your own theme during this holiday. It might be odd to do that way as a few would not like the idea. But there are some who find your ideas to be ingenious.

It’s your choice to pick the holiday cooking that would correctly match your situation or theme. You can make your picnic spot great. You can spread the checked table cloth; have the people seat around it on the spot and put the basket that has the food in the middle leaving them ready to put in their hands before everything goes empty. You have to be a lot different with your ideas. Your theme should be different when compared with the others on their past and it should also provide them new ideas and concepts to build their holiday cooking in their next turn. If you choose the picnic theme, then contents such as wine, finger foods and cheese are essential and they can be easily carried too. Your choice of the picnic spot is dependent on the weather or the place or country you are living in.

You may arrange your dishes on a table along with a pluck cards stating your efforts to make the dish. It is purely your choice whether to serve the food in a buffet or not. I believe that your cooking is better than mine. Well it is necessary that your theme is different and new from the others. But it is not a part of the holiday do’s. It facilitates your family to enjoy this holiday with the presence everyone to make it happier and memorable.

Ethnic themes are suitable if you prefer a theme to be new for this holiday cooking. This will intend you to do a lot of exploration in cooking. It also leaves a difficult situation for the person who is responsible for the next year’s holiday cooking. It will leave him to do some extra hard work than yours to make it more perfect and great than you did with the eateries and decorations. Allow your family knowledge, personal tastes and your imagination to be your guide while deciding the final theme for this holiday and it should also cover your thought on spreading the theme. Great fun can be derived by challenging the work from the start.

Medieval Christmas theme is a fun theme and it is my all time favorite for my Christmas cooking. Appearing in different costumes for dinner is really going to be fun. The dance after dinner can even make it funnier and lovely with the observance of their costumes relating the various cultural “manners” at the Christmas cooking. It is a nice way to have great fun with family and your loved, never mind that you are cooking. The advantage of the medieval theme is you get more ideas and concepts to build your theme and it leaves the next one in a difficult position to take his or her holiday cooking in a better way than yours.

The advantage of it is it loses the tradition. So it is better to consult your family regarding your theme and decide whether they would like it or not in order to avoid any upsets at the holiday as your family might probably not like it. You can also arrange a Christmas party as an alternate or arrange a personal Christmas celebration for your family though it may not be that much funnier.

Our Local Festival: Haven for Dressing Up

16th March

According to my favorite online encyclopedia, Mardi Gras is an annual festival marking the final day before the Christian fast of Lent, a 40-day period of self-denial and abstinence from merrymaking. It is also known as Shrove Tuesday or Carnival. Mardi Gras is the last opportunity for revelry and indulgence in food and drink before the Lent. The word Mardi Gras means “Fat Tuesday” in the French word.

The date of Mardi Gras changes from year to year, but it is always falling between February 3 and March 9. The Carnival season is marked by spectacular parades featuring elaborate floats, beauty pageants, elaborate costumes, masked balls, and dancing in the streets.  The most famous of these kinds of festivals are those found in Brazil and in New Orleans.

Ah, so this is where our city got our very own festival.  During the 1980s our city was a rich city because of the sugar industry. Sugar barons strut around like kings and own vast tracts of land like the old medieval feudal system.  However, the crash of the sugar industry brought about widespread unemployment and poverty.  It was a very painful wake-up call for everyone who thinks the days of plenty will never end.  The local government, in response, decided to hold a Mardi Gras like street party where the people wore smiling masks and dance in the streets. It was a successful festival.  The people for a moment forgot their misery and it even proved as manna from heaven when tourists began arriving to witness the event thus giving money to the city because of tourism.

The city then provided different gimmicks to keep the visitors coming. Popular bands and artists were invited to perform during the week-long event. Then there were mask making contests and dress up games for children.  The dress up games go hand in hand with mask wearing and during the festival one can always see children in costumes and masks.  Winners of these contests usually earn a modest amount enough to compensate for the effort in joining this mask making contests and dress up games.

As a youngster, I enjoy these dress up games. I would go with my family watching the street dance competition and taking in the sights.  It was a sort of a family tradition for us to join the celebration until nighttime, eat out in one of those outdoor barbecue places (our city is famous for its barbecue chicken) and then try the various kiddie rides in the carnival for a cheap price.

My fondest memories of attending these festivals are not the dress up games and mask making contests or the street dancing that I witnessed but this singular scene wherein my father would raise me up and put me in his shoulder so that I could see what was going on around me despite the throngs of people in the streets.   Since then I always make sure to join in the celebration, I am anticipating what surprises have the local government in store for next year.

What is a dance off at a dance competition?

15th March

Please tell me everythingg you know about dance competitions, includinggg dance offs? What are they, exactly? I have my first competition ever this coming weekend, and i would like some background knowledgee as to what happens. So, what is a dance off, and what are dance competitions like?? Thankss

dance competitions are about who can "dance better". Technically speaking, nobody dances "better" because it depends on their interpretation of dance and how long they have been training. What happens is that a group of people get together and they see who has the most skill and that person is crowned winner.

A dance off is when a group of people, usually two, have tied scores and they compete once again as a tie-breaker. Or a dance off can be a mini dance competition. Hope I helped and good luck!

Culture and Student Life at Iit

14th March

Do you want to know how the place of your dreams is like from the inside? All individuals who want to be a part of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) are really keen on knowing the culture and student life in the IIT campus. Staying in the state-of-the-art hostels and participating in cultural activities and fests that are renowned all over the country is every IIT aspirants dream. But do you really know all about IIT culture and student life? If not, let’s find out what it is like.

The best thing about IITs across the country is that they provide on-campus residential accommodation to students, researchers, and faculty. Students reside in hostels that are uniquely named, all throughout their graduation. Each hostel has a common room that provides facilities like indoor games and a television. Students can gather in the common room to chat with each other or to keep themselves updated about the current events by watching television and reading newspapers. In addition, it is imperative that every IIT student opts of National Cadet Corps (NCC0, National Service Scheme (NSS), or National Sports Organization (NSO) during their first year. Surely, this is an exciting and innovative concept. This helps in the overall growth of the student. IITs across the country have huge grounds that witness different sports like football, hockey, cricket, lawn tennis, badminton, and athletics. In addition, each IIT has nice and big swimming pools for water activities.

All the IITs are known for their technical and cultural events. The different technical events in IITs across the country include Cognizance held at IIT Roorkee, Shaastra held at IIT Chennai, Techkriti held at IIT Kanpur, Kshitij held at IIT Kharagpur, Techfest held at IIT Bombay, Tryst held at IIT Delhi, and Techniche held at IIT Guwahati. These technical fests last for around three to four days and are mostly held between February and March. Of the various technical events held across different IITs Shaastra has earned a name for being the first ever event, managed by students, that incorporates a formal Quality Management System. Kshitij, on the other hand, is known for the maximum number of participants and huge sums of money offered as prizes.

IITs all over the country also host famous cultural events. The different cultural events across different IITs include Thomso held at IIT Roorkee, Mood Indigo held at IIT Mumbai, Spring Fest held at IIT Kharagpur, Saarang held at IIT Chennai, Antaragni held at IIT Kanpur, Alcheringa held at IIT Guwahati, and Rendezvous held at IIT Delhi. The annual fest too lasts for three to four days and hosts a whole lot of entertaining and engaging events.

Added to the technical and cultural events, IIT Mumbai and IIT Kharagpur host some really different and unique festivals. Performing Arts Festival is a unique feature of IIT Mumbai and includes activities and events such as drama, music, fine arts, literature, dance, and debates. All these activities are held at the Open Air Theater in IIT Mumbai’s main campus. On the other hand, IIT Kharagpur hosts the unique festival called Illumination. Celebrated on the eve of Diwali, the festival of lights, the highlight of this festival is the competition between different halls for the prize. As a part of the competition, halls plant vertical columns of bamboo (chatais) on which they place earthen lamps (diyas) that eventually form outlines of people or things that depict a place or an event.

IITs also hold inter-IIT sports called the Annual Inter-IIT Sports Meet. The prestigious award is a running shield that is presented to the IIT that wins the meet. The winning IIT is decided, based on the total number of points that each IIT earns for all the events. The events held at the Annual Inter-IIT Sports Meet include athletics, badminton, cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, water polo, hockey, squash, swimming, lawn tennis, weightlifting, and table tennis.

This culture and student life across different IITs is really interesting and amazing to experience. This is surely one of the reasons why individuals want to be a part of the brand name, IIT.

My Academic Journey so Far….

12th March

Hi there,

I am pursuing MBA in HR and this is the most wonderful thing that I am currently experiencing.

In my schooling years I was a very simple average kinds gal

Then I got into college. Much against my wish to join this College which was “Gokhale College” at Borivali West. This college did not have sophisticated crowd and normally the lower middle class students would be seen in and around the campus, which was again not that big and classy like the ones in Big colleges.

I had scored 76% in SSC and my brother asked me to join this college. That time I thought all wrong about him. He was jealous of me, didn’t wish that I should roam in the cream crowd, and what not!!!! I remember I had cried two days when I agreed to join it.

First day was ok

But day by day, I realized that the college was not as bad as I thought it to be. Sooner after my first sem did I realize that I had scored the top marks among my class and my friends really looked upto me. My teachers were impressed with my thinking and writing skills.

They used to suddenly enter the class, get me and push me to some of the Essay writing, Elocution, Debate, Poetry writing competition which was ongoing. I used to argue saying “Come on, I can’t attempt this, I am not prepared” To this, their kool reply would just be “So what!!! Worst come – you will fail right!! As it is you are not prepared so if you lose you won’t really feel the pinch. Now come on don’t waste time already you are 10 mins late, you just have 20 minutes to attempt it.

Gosh!!!! I used to feel really suffocated and helpless.

Surprisingly when the results came, I stood 2nd from the entire college. That’s it – this was the start for my confidence level to zoom up. I got the belief I had something in me and I can very much do it.

Being a nature lover, I was initially a coordinator for the excursions and nature club picnics which was more or less trekking types.

I started mixing up with many students as well as professors.

Sooner I became the known face in my college and every single friend would look up to me for anything that bothered him

I tell you I was so happy and felt like being on top of the world!!! Frankly then I started realizing that my brother really understood my hidden desire and hence had purposely decided this for me. How stupid I was to even doubt his intentions!!!!

My college years were just dream come true with me being recognized as one of the scholars yet a bubbly character, very hardworking yet lively with dance competition, personality shows, extremely good in communication skills yet immature and extremely excited about everything that would come my way, capable of handling responsibilities well yet being very short-tempered and speaking straight what was in my heart.

In the last year of my college I was really serious about my passion – my studies and really wanted to make it to the top again!!! Surprisingly, much against my wishes to shoulder responsibility, I became the Cultural Secretary of my college. Whoo!!!! What a lovely time that was. I actually learnt so many things which is now helping me in my professional life. How to deal with new guys, represent your college, get the work done – amazing things!!!

I wanted to do my MBA after college but then my brother’s business partner had some issues with the ongoing business and broke the agreement. My brother would do an MBA was the family decision. I realized it was definitely more important for him at that time and stepped back. Nothing that my family told me not to pursue it, but getting my Angel Father (then the only earning member) into yet another loan factor made me take back my step. I decided I shall earn for some years and pursue it on my own merit.

I was extremely fortunate to have Excellent bosses throughout my so called career of almost 6 years now (I started my career on 28-April-03). They really boosted my confidence and gave me additional responsibilities, which were new challenges. As I always state, I have been an extremely special child of God. My working years were fantastic and its been that each year I get promotions. Currently I am working in Schneider Electric, this is my 3rd company, but here also its been a privilege working under another Angel who happens to be my boss. He has given me so many responsibilities yet complete freedom to persue my dreams.

Then there were these 2 angels – Shailesh and Sanjeev who really taught me so many things.

I was 3 months under a CA after my tenth, just to kill the 3 month long vacation. This is where I met Shailesh Shah, now a CA, who taught me lots. When 13 year old masses didn’t understand the concept of debit and credit, here I was tallying Balance sheets and entering around 100-200 enteries into the system for our client. Amazing I just love to remember the old days. My first salary was Rs 800 for those 3 months which meant more than a billion to me!!!

In my first job in 2003 I met Sanjeev Kuttan, who then taught me everything – word, xl, powerpoint, which now my team says I am an expert at. He has been so caring, supporting in every way. I used to call him “Alladin’s chirag” I used to wish something and this guy would in next moment get it or do it for me. We worked together for 2 and half years but that time I remember we mostly laughed and had so much fun!!

I had another angel named Sumesh Nair who met me in Schneider. I am deeply grateful for his suggestions, inputs, caring ways, showing me a path in my life. He was one guy who was extremely motivating and directed me to a goal in Life. I had married a wrong person, who had psychiatric problems and was impotent. I realized the relationship was going no-where and decided to take a divorce. Sumesh was with me lifting my up every moment when I really needed support.

My school and college friends everyone was just so caring with their own sweet ways to see I am not depressed or even a little down in life.

I am extremely proud to say I am the most luckiest person to have the best of friends, relative and above everything a family with Angels. They have supported me so much and encouraged me when I really needed their buck up!!!

I enrolled for my MBA in HR from ICFAI.

My first lecture was on 16th January 09. Till date I was also very lucky to have best of Professors to give me a high quality education and above that, values for life. I wasn’t so happy to see Prof Iqbal who was introduced to us that he would teach us Introduction to Management.

He began to speak and sooner I realized I was again wrong. This guy was yet another angel that God had sent to me. His inspiring talks really encouraged me to chase my dream.

You know what my dream is??? I dream to become a completely different elevated person in 2 years. Extremely Professional and having a persona that would spell bound the people in just a mere interaction. I am extremely optimist so I definitely plan to settle down in Life again (this time being extremely careful and alert) I should have everything that I dream of at my fingertips and the best part would be everything would be that it is self-made. To put it simply I should earn it and not just get it.

Prof Iqbal doesn’t teach, hez divided the chapter into 5 parts and has asked us to present it to the class. Again not as a newsreader but he needs creativity and innovativeness – he says you are allowed to crack a joke, act the scenes. I leave it to you, but I need a creative presentation.

The best part what I loved about him is he says MBA is not in these books, It’s in you. And its my job to polish and bring that out. MBA graduates will not be asked what Management means, they will be presented with n number of problems and people will expect creative, innovative solution out of them

Gosh!!! I was just carried away with these challenging words. He had won my heart.

I still remember the incident that he was lecturing and mentioning that he has taught so many people who are today Big Shots, earning amazingly in their extremely high profiled designations.

I raised my hand and asked him, Do you feel bad that you have taught them and they have superseded you??

To this he instantaneously replied, “Why should I???, Tell me if your kid grows big and supersedes you drastically will you be happy or regret that you didn’t achieve what he did?”

I was shocked and without words to answer him. He continued, “To me everyone is just like my own kid who has the passion but no direction, I want you guys to wake up and achieve something that was just beyond my reach and If you make it, belive me I shall be more happy than you.

Amazing thought a person could have!!!! My respect towards him grew manifold.

This Saturday – 24th January – is my first presentation. And I have made sure that I do it utmost creatively so that he is happy. I woke up day before yesterday at 2:00am, wrote a play encompassing all the chapters which were in our purview, put some really funny aspects to them (obviously with the help of my angels – Dad, brother and one of my colleague)

I am so anxious to present it to him and get just an expression, Gal you are my next target – I wish to see you up there – really soon. God!!! I would just love that!!!!

New Yam Festival of Ogba Kingdom (onelga) Rivers State Nigerian

9th March

Ogba is an ethnic group in rivers state Nigeria, with a population of about 480,000 people with a land mass of Approximately 2600 square meters, agriculturally rich with the best aqua cultures in Africa at Omoku and are naturally endowed with thousands of natural resources. The uniqueness of it all is their cultural heritage which include New Yam festival (Egwu Ogba), Masquerade display and Traditional Wrestling that showcase the culture of the Ogba people to the fullest.
Egwu Ogba festival (New Yam festival) is an annual celebration of the people of Ogba Kingdom, during this period, the people try very hard to give peace and love a chance devoid of any sort of political undertone. It is a period of giving and sharing with fellow family members and relations. They are, however, celebrated in accordance with the native calendar of the Ogba people which is in August. And it is considered the last month of their year. The Uniqueness of the Ogba New Yam festival (Egwu Ogba) is the harvesting of new yam to mark the celebration. The paramount ruler of the Kingdom known as Eze Ogba will formally announce the date in four market days in advance to declare open the celebration and he shall instruct all the 82 town and villages to prepare their self for the celebration.

On the last market day the celebration begins with the interpretation of the Ogba culture and norm to the younger generation. The eldest man of every community assembled in their various town halls to reinstate the need to pass the culture of the people to the younger generation born and yet to be born. After that he will start by telling the story of how Ogba people came in existence by narrating the order of birth in their communities and how the fore fathers live their lives compare to the life today. Prior to the conclusion of the story telling, the young adults are asked to start a masquerade (Owu) display in their respective communities all family urges their children to see the need while they should partake in the dance which serves as an entertainment period for the people. For no one is allow going for farming, because the King has earlier send message to all families to go and harvest enough food that can lasts for two weeks. After the expiration of the two weeks, there is a two days break and the Kind send the second announcement round again, it says there should be no farming for the purpose of the fest is to compel every one to have a rest from working.

And next is the traditional wrestling, Traditional wrestling is a popular activity in most region in Nigeria. It is seen not only as a competitive sport, but also as a way to exercise and a chance to entertain in the ceremonies of the village. In the past, it served three important roles in Ogba Kingdom: It prevented fighting; it also involved exercising – to make our body healthy and it kept them able to fight in a battle if needed. Nowadays, the younger Ogba generations wrestle as a competitive sport. They also take part for fun on special occasions, such as Ogba New Yam festival, on such occasions, the wrestlers walk from one place to another to find competitors. It would be incorrect to assume that this was not an activity for the fairer sex. Many women take part and have done so throughout the history of the sport. Sometimes, even beating the most experienced male fighters, during a special ceremony in Ogba kingdom, the young wrestler, with a strong body and a great love for this sport, begins by choosing his competitor. He does this by shouting: “Come and pay for the food” – what this means is that since we eat the food in the Festival day therefore we must entertain on this happy occasion to thank those who offered the food. After saying this he jumps and runs around topless through the crowd in the pagoda, showing off his techniques and his physique. A few minutes later another person will reply, “Here is the food payer” and then he does the same as the first man,They have found a competitor.

The competition attracts many villagers, who either stand or sit in a circle and cheer for the man they support. An old man, who is usually an old-hand wrestler, is an adjudicator for this game. Before competing they talk about the rules and what kind of competition it will be – just a friendly spar, showing their techniques or until death. The latter is not very common nowadays. During these bouts, passions run high for competitors and the audience alike. Sometimes the supporters get carried away and fight amongst themselves, wrestling first appeared when the Ogba Kingdom was being established.

The uniqueness of it all is their cultural heritage, which include New Yam festival (Egwu Ogba), Masquerade display and Traditional Wrestling that showcase the culture of the people to the fullest.

Time Management for SEO Services

7th March

<p>Search engine optimization is a monitoring & reading activity and totally depends upon the contents and structure of the website, so it is time consuming job. SEO is a continuous process, depends upon the update in algorithm of the search engines. Each search engine have their own algorithm technology. The search engine like Goggle loves unique contents with unique title tag, MSN gives higher appearance in search results for those having high link popularity and good title tag, Yahoo gives importance to description tags etc, Therefore a site may rank high in one search engine and lower in another.</p>

<p>Nobody can say that search engines technology will always remain constant; it may change and improve as per the new search techniques and ideas. If an expert guarantees you about number one position for life time then that is a tip off that they are not really an expert.</p>

<p>Today’s market is very very competitive and if you want to command the market and want to become leader in the market; you should be always ahead of your competitors. In the internet marketing if you stop doing SEO activities then you may or may not remain in top 10 to 20 results. It is totally depends upon how much competition do your business have.</p>

<p>For eg. suppose my company is offering web hosting services and in today’s date web hosting field is very competitive. So for web hosting keyword today I am in top 20, but it is possible that I may not remain in top 50 results in future. But if you have less competition then your results will remain stable which helps you to increase the chances of appearing in top search engine ranking results.</p>

<p>Therefore there is no way to guarantee specific search engine rankings over a duration of time because constant “algorithmic” modifications within individual engines can cause placements to rise, slip or be lost all together.</p>

<p>As per my experience, SEO is a time consuming activity. In this field, results are not immediate, just conduct SEO activities and wait for few days to know results of your working. From last one year I am in search engine optimization field and I found that Google updates its database (google dance) every three month (may take more than three months also) and that’s why you can see changes in Google Page Rank for every three months. Search engine ranking positions of every search engine changes daily or weekly and its depends on how much competition the given keyword have.</p>

Celine Dion Wants to Go Dancing With the Stars

5th March

Who said Dancing with the Stars is all about reviving one’s showbiz career? More than that, Dancing with the Stars has become a venue for celebrities to show off their other talents, aside from acting. In fact, another big name has set her eyes on the dance floor as Celine Dion, the multi-awarded Canadian singer has expressed her desire to be part of the highly watched celebrity competition series.

The 39-year-old singer/songwriter recently revealed to TV Guide that she is a big fan of ABC’s Emmy-nominated Dancing with the Stars. In fact, she went backstage on Monday night’s show after she pre-tapped two songs for the Dancing with the Stars finale next week. TV Guide reports that one of the songs is “My Heart Will Go On,” the theme of the hit movie, Titanic.

“I hope they invite me again. I want to dance,” Celine Dion said to TV Guide. “For me, it’s not about a contest. It’s about having the privilege to share the dancing floor with the most amazing, talented people, and to share music. It’s not about winning. It’s about dancing as many times as possible.”

Dion seemed serious about her joining Dancing with the Stars, despite her little experience of ballet training when she was a child. Moreover, the performance of six Dancing with the Stars professional dancers, including Tony Dovolani, Cheryl Burke, Mark Ballas and Karina Smirnoff, made Dion even more excited. She said their performance made it difficult for her to focus on her lyrics, as she was mesmerized with their dancing.

“I was having a hard time singing because I was like, ‘Oh, I want a dress just like that! Oh, I want a flower, too. Oh, my god, I want a body like that,” Dion said. “I wish I could dance like that as I sing the song.’ But it’s impossible. It’s one or the other. But I was imagining that the dancers were me.”
